Because these leaks are slow and hidden behind cabinet doors, the first sign is often a swollen cabinet base or a musty smell rather than a puddle.

A kitchen sink is a hub. We connect and reconnect dishwashers, set air gaps and high loops correctly so the dishwasher does not back up into the sink, replace disposals, and plumb the under sink reverse osmosis and filter systems that a lot of Sun City households add.
That filtration point matters here. Because Sun City water runs hard, at 7 to 11 grains per gallon in EPCOR's testing, plenty of residents want better drinking water at the kitchen tap.
